now all eight of my siblings have come to visit us in london!

it was such a blast having my closest-in-age brother eli, his awesome wife julie, and their kids zara and dean in london with us a couple weeks ago. we explored iconic sights and hidden mews, there was plentiful cousin bonding and sibling bonding, we had crazy awesome slumber parties in our tiny flat, and the kids kept us on our toes and laughing.

we are so grateful for eli and julie’s friendship, and their examples.

it was a fabulous few days together in london before we all set off to the faroe islands! eli and julie had been to london several times before (eli did a study abroad here), but it is always fun to share the city as our home with those we love.

  1. Charity, this is totally not about this post but I so wanted to let you know that because of your posts the last couple years about your family reunions at Bear Lake i decided we needed to have a more deliberate plan for ours this year. I took a few ideas from your family and came up with some great memories. One of the best--painting. On our last morning when people got up and before leaving I had everyone paint their favorite thing of the 5 days. It was marvelous. Thanks for sharing your family.

  2. From your wonderful wanderings around London and then also traveling, it seems to me that you must have comfortable shoes (!) Wondering what you wear and what you would recommend - you always look stylish!
